Governments and companies will always find ways to cut spending, and that means jobs in most cases.
According to a recent Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) article, manufacturing and professional employment rose by 18,000 and 27,000 respectively in February.
The word has received negative connotations for reasons outside of our control or interest; therefore, at TMP, we choose to refer to every hard-working and dedicated employee as just that: employees!
We don’t shy away from automation where it makes sense—but we don’t replace people with algorithms and expect better results. Candidates will never be treated any better by silicon than they will be by flesh-and-blood recruiters.
With such a wide range of customers, there’s something for just about everybody. That’s why we prefer to view every candidate who walks through our door as an “eventual employee”.
